SAWEA Background

The South African Wind Energy Association (SAWEA) is a not-for-profit organisation that represents the united voice of wind energy and actively advocating the advancement of sustainable energy practices and policies in South Africa. Home to over 101 members, SAWEA has been actively involved in the renewable energy sector in South Africa for the past 27 years, advocating for the development and implementation of clean energy solutions that align with global climate objectives. We consistently engage with stakeholders, both locally and internationally, to promote the adoption of renewable energy technologies and to address the challenges associated with climate change.
